Australian Inspirational Film Fest hand-picks bird movie for 2022 line-up

Perth
Western Australia

Inspiration is set to take centre stage on the internet at the end of April, with the Australian Inspirational Film Festival (AIFF) announcing its 2022 program.

The Message of the Lyrebird has been selected for the festival to shine a light on the care and conservation work of lyrebirds and Australia’s old-growth forests.

The 84 minute feature explores the human intervention of lyrebird habitat along with how the continuation of lyrebird life is inextricably connected to humanity. This dynamic celebrates humans coexisting with wildlife. It also provides the audience with stunning landscapes and natural history of the lyrebird, and its bizarre behaviours, as well as thought-provoking scenes that incorporates the Australian First Nations perspective about the elusive icon.

The Perth based event from Western Australia holds profound values and vision for the cinematic stories it screens. The 2022 lineup showcases well-crafted films from around the world that are inspiring, positive, nourishing, thought-provoking, entertaining, joyous, uplifting & enlightening.

Films selected for the festival also have the opportunity to secure worldwide or local Australian distribution through Small Voice Films.

This year has moved online to the Xerb.tv platform. All award eligible films that would normally have screened live will now screen online for the period of the festival, during April 29 - May 1, 2022.

Films will be added to the virtual screenings to the page where you can purchase tickets for individual feature films and passes to the festival.
