Lyrebird wins 1st Place at ABS Film Festival

The Message of the Lyrebird has won 1st Place [Commercial Film] for the 37th Animal Behavior Society (ABS) Film Festival.

The film was screened as part of the 2022 ABS Conference at the Crowne Plaza San José Corobici Conference Center, Costa Rica on Thursday 21 July in front of scientists from around the world who study behavior across all levels of biological organization, under natural and controlled conditions.

Film Festival Chair Barbara Clucas said the judges and audience enjoyed watching The Message of the Lyrebird.

Lyrebird is now etched into ABS film festival history along with other famous winners such as The Science of Whales, Africa’s Forgotten Elephants, The New Chimpanzees, Land of the Anaconda, Wild Scandinavia, The Secret Leopard, Power of Play, Wild Australia and others.
