Lyrebirds are Go!

In 2010, Balangara Films was founded for the purpose of producing a small project entitled, The Message Of The Lyrebird.

Eleven years later, the film goes into its final production stages, with an indie distribution release, rolling out to community fundraiser virtual events and film festivals.

Where possible, The Message of the Lyrebird will play live in regional eastern Australian cinemas and community halls during a 2021 Freedom For Forests Tour. The tour follows the mainland lyrebird habitat; from Belgrave (Victoria) to Stanthorpe (Queensland).

The feature-length, social impact documentary will be released with a photographic odyssey companion book to illustrate the beauty of this bird and all its friends.
